ArchiCAD
Onuma and ArchiCAD
- Save Time! Use Onuma to quickly associate data to graphics
and rapidly plan and test many scenarios before you start work in
ArchiCAD
- Maintain Integrity! Your project's program requirements
and data is maintained between Onuma and ArchiCAD including both 2D and
3D:
- Buildings
- Floors
- Spaces
- Furniture and Equipment
- Save Knowledge! With Onuma you can maintain your whole
catalog of ArchiCAD projects so you can access them anytime or anywhere
with an internet connection
- Keep Projects Organized! Onuma can manage the data of one
building or a whole campus of buildings in a single scheme
1 - Set
up in Onuma
Data and graphics can be exported from Onuma to ArchiCAD.
Rapid planning in Onuma can be used in ArchiCAD. Programming
requirements for existing or renovation projects can be defined in
Onuma and then exported to ArchiCAD for preparation of construction
documents.
2 - Add More Detail in Onuma
Multi-floor buildings with spaces that have furniture and
equipment can be taken directly from Onuma into ArchiCAD. In ArchiCAD
the model is automatically generated including all the required
attributes of spaces and objects. In this way programming and modeling
requirements can be managed in Onuma and can be integrated with desktop
BIM applications such as ArchiCAD.
3 -
Export to ArchiCAD
Round tripping back from ArchiCAD to Onuma is also possible
using Onuma Add On for ArchiCAD, to check the original programming
requirements in Onuma against the proposed plan. Using this method it
is also possible to import multiple schemes or as built models from
ArchiCAD into Onuma and use the database function in Onuma to manage
and search through an entire inventory of facilities.
Using the GSA BIM Guide attributes built into Onuma it is also
possible to check against client specific requirements.
