1 - Set up
in OPS™
Data and graphics can be exported from OPS™ to
Archicad. Rapid planning in OPS™ can be used in Archicad.
Programming requirements for existing or renovation projects can be
defined in OPS™ and then exported to Archicad for preparation
of construction documents.
2 -
Add More Detail in OPS™
Multi floor buildings with spaces that have furniture and
equipment can be taken directly from OPS™ into Archicad. In
Archicad the model is automatically generated including all the
required attributes of spaces and objects. In this way programming and
modeling requirements can be managed in OPS™ and can be
integrated with desktop BIM applications such as Archicad.
3 -
Export to Archicad
Round tripping back from Archicad to OPS™ is also
possible using the optional OPS Add On for Archicad available in June
2007, to check the original programming requirements in OPS™
against the proposed plan. Using this method it is also possible to
import mutiple schemes or as built models from Archicad into
OPS™ and use the database function in OPS™ to
manage and search through an entire inventory of facilities.
Using the GSA BIM Guide attributes built into OPS™
it is also possible to check against client specific requirements.
